We met several times at various networking events, and I guess we both understood that a connection had already been established through our mutual acquaintances and shared interests. The atmosphere at these events was often charged with the excitement of potential collaborations and partnerships, but also with a sense of uncertainty about how to initiate a conversation that would lead to something meaningful. Finally, I decided it was time to reach out to Sloane. I took the opportunity to explain our 'Why'—the driving force behind our endeavors and the passion that fueled our initiatives. How did it all begin?

In July 2024, Sloane launched Squeeze massage at Fruitville Commons, aiming to provide the Sarasota community with a much-improved massage experience. At Squeeze, they are fostering a lively and technology-friendly environment, offering not only relaxation but also a delightful getaway.

Do you have any advice for a Woman that wants to start her own business?

My advice is to trust your vision and take bold steps. Even when the path feels uncertain, lean in. Being a business owner has its set of challenges and can feel lonely at times. Surround yourself with a supportive network of other women entrepreneurs who inspire and challenge you—collaborations like the ones I’ve had with Amelie can be a game-changer. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help or learn from others’ experiences. Lastly, always remember that progress is better than perfection. Start where you are, believe in what you’re building, and celebrate every small win along the way. When things get tough, always remember "You Can Do Hard Things". This is a simple phrase I remind myself of daily.
